Keep up with Armagh i

Acknowledgement for the late Desmond Brannigan (Coalisland)

Brannigan, Desmond. Rosaleen and Eileen wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness and support shown to us following our sad loss.

We are extremely grateful to the staff of Sanville Nursing Home for the wonderful attention and friendship afforded to Desmond during his period in residence and to Dean Kevin Donaghy for his spiritual support.

To Fr Eugene O’Neill, many thanks for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass and interment.

A special thanks to our close friends Vinnie and Ignatius Mc Cusker and their families for all their support and assistance throughout the years and at this sad time.

We wish to thank the kind relatives, friends and neighbours, especially John and Nina Daly, and to those who sent cards, visited the house and helped us during this difficult time.

To Desmond’s former comrades in Sinn Fein for providing a guard of honour on the day of the funeral at his late residence and at the entrance to the cemetery, sincere thanks.
Thank you to Gervin’s for the fine meal prepared after the burial.

To Peter, Bryan, Neil and Dermot of M Dorman and Son Funeral Directors for the dignified manner in which arrangements were carried out.

To Siobhan O’Neill for the beautiful music which greatly enhanced the Requiem Mass.

As it is impossible to thank everyone, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for everyone’s intentions when Desmond’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held in the Church of the Holy Family on Tuesday August 2, at 10am.
