The family of the late David O’Neill (Dee) wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us during our sad bereavement.
Thanks to all our extended family, friends and neighbours, those who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass cards, letters, donations, gifts, food and messages of condolence.
A special word of thanks to Rev Fr Colum Murphy, for all his spiritual support and a very personal Requiem Mass and to Fr Brian Fitzpatrick and Fr Liam McKinney.
Thank you to the guards of honour, St Brendan’s P.S. & the Knights of St. Columbanus. Also, to Mark Magee, Jonny Toman and Béibhinn French for the beautiful singing and music.
Our gratitude and thanks to Jack McLearnon Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they conducted all the funeral arrangements, and Patton Print for the Mass booklets.
Sincere thanks to Dr J Graham, Dympna Sands, and all the dedicated staff who cared for Dee in the Renal Unit Daisy Hill, and also those who provided care with such kindness and compassion in the last week, including Level 4 Ward Daisy Hill, William Street Surgery, the District Nursing Team, Carers and Marie Curie staff.
Dee was a much-loved husband, father, granda, brother, father in law, uncle and brother-in-law.
He was a special blessing to us all and is sorely missed every day.
Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
