The brother Micí, sister-in-law Teresa, and nephews and nieces of the late Brigid Connolly would like to express our profound thanks and gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us and supported us during our recent bereavement.
We would like to give a special thanks to our family circle, friends and neighbours for the kindness and support shown to us in the days and weeks since her death.
A sincere thank you to those who sent messages, cards, flowers, provided food and attended the house. A heartfelt thanks to those who helped during the wake and funeral.
A special thank you to Fr. Thomas McHugh for his support to Brigid and the Connolly family over the years, during the wake and for celebrating the funeral mass. Thanks also to Cardinal Seán Brady, Sr. Joanne Kelly MMM, Fr. John Hughes, Fr. Seamus White and Fr. Peter McAnenly.
Many thanks to the Sacristan, Eucharistic Ministers, and all those who participated in Brigid’s funeral mass. Thanks also to the gravediggers for preparing her final resting place.
A heartfelt thanks also to Gerry Cunningham and Pat Casey who provided the beautiful singing and music during the funeral mass.
Many thanks to Ciara for providing the refreshments, and Bronach and all the volunteers who served the food after the funeral.
Thanks to Martin Kelly Funeral Directors, for the very dignified and professional way the funeral arrangements were carried out.
Thanks also to the doctors and nursing staff, at-home care team and carers, who cared for Brigid with such compassion in the months leading up to her death.
A special thanks also to Kathleen and all the staff at Collegeland Nursing Home. Your care and attention meant the world to her and to us, and we are deeply grateful for your kindness during that time.
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere and utmost gratitude to everyone for their support since Brigid’s death.
Brigid’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place at St. Jarlath’s Church, Clonfeacle on Tuesday October 15, at 7.00pm.
