The family of the late Bernie Gordon RIP would like to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us in the loss of Bernie.
We would like to thank our extended family, friend’s and neighbours who came to our home, brought food and Mass Cards, and helped in any way.
Also local businesses who were very generous to us throughout the wake. A special word of thanks to St. Brigids Camogie Club along with Pearse Og GFC who provided a beautiful guard of honour for Bernie which she would have been so proud of. We are ever so grateful for the spiritual support Bernie received throughout her illness from Fr. Peter McAnenly PP and for her beautiful funeral Mass.
Thanks to singer Cathy McKenna and organist Patricia Hagan for the beautiful music during Mass. A heart-felt thanks to Dr Eimear Moriarity and Dr Frances O’Hagan along with all the District Nurses from Friary Surgery who provided Bernie with the best care in her last week’s. Also the staff of McKeevers Chemist Dobin Street.
Thanks to McArdle Funeral Directors, for the professional and dignified way the funeral arrangements were carried out and especially Hugo for his support and kindness to our family. And to the grave diggers.
We would like to thank Kerrie and staff at Raffles Bakery for the lovely food and excellent service provided at the wake and following the Mass, also Cordillias, JP’s and Granny’s Fayer for their generosity.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement is a token of our sincere appreciation.
Bernie’s Months Mind Mass will take place on Saturday February 18, 2023 at 6.30pm in St. Patrick’s Cathedral Armagh. Mass can also be viewed via parish webcam.
