Corrigan, Bernadette.
The family of the late Bernadette Corrigan — her husband Martin and daughters Aishling, Roisin, Colleen and Erin and the extended family circle wish to sincerely thank all those who sympathised with them during their recent bereavement.
A special thank you to our aunts, uncles and cousins for their strength and guidance while Mum was in hospital, throughout the wake and funeral, and during the difficult days that followed. We are deeply grateful to Mum’s close friends, our friends, and neighbours who attended the wake and funeral, and to all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages, posted online condolences, brought gifts of food, and made donations to SVP in Mum’s memory.
We extend heartfelt thanks to the ladies who helped with teas and refreshments, and for the support and advice you provided — it was greatly appreciated. We also wish to thank the doctors and nurses of 1 North and the Ramone Building, CAH, who cared for Mum so compassionately during her short illness.
Sincere thanks to Canon O’Neill and Deacon McKernan for their spiritual care and support to Mum and our family during her time in hospital, and to Canon O’Neill, Deacon McKernan, Fr Moore and Fr McGinnity for celebrating such a personal and fitting Funeral Mass. We are grateful to Catherine and Dermot for the beautiful music.
We thank the gravediggers who prepared Mum’s final resting place with such reverence, D&R Utilities for their help leading up to the wake and funeral, Paul Hughes for recording the beautiful Mass so family abroad could be included, and the Old Coach Inn for the lovely meal afterwards.
Finally, we wish to express our sincere gratitude to Bridget Mone and all at Mone Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. A special thank you to Bridget for her guidance, strength and words of support to our family.
At the risk of failing to mention someone, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation and gratitude.
Bernadette’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 7pm in St Mochua’s Chapel, Derrynoose.
