McKenna, Arthur. (Madden). Arthur’s son Austin, brother Stephen, sister Dorothy and the extended family wish to thank all those who sympathised with them during their sad bereavement.
To all our wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours whose help was invaluable over the wake/funeral and indeed throughout the years.
We thank all those who attended the wake/funeral, brought mass/sympathy cards, telephoned or messaged and those who posted condolences online we appreciated each and every one of them.
Thanks also to the many individuals who brought gifts of food to the wake and to all the ladies who worked tirelessly in the kitchen serving the tea. We thank also the men who erected the lighting and assisted and directed wake attendees to park.
We also acknowledge with gratitude the assistance of the P.S.N.I on the morning of the funeral with traffic management.
Particular thanks to the Doctors and staff of Abbey Court Surgery,the staff of Greenpark Nursing home, the staff of Craigavon hospital who compassionately looked after Arthur during his illness.
We thank the priests of the parish and especially Fr John McKeever for celebrating a beautiful and fitting funeral mass and to Paul (keady Sacriston) for assisting at the funeral.To Catherine and Dermot for the wonderful music which enhanced the celebration of the mass and to the ladies of Madden Community Centre for providing the post burial meal and for the use of the hall.
Finally sincere thanks to Bridget Mone and BJ Sheridan of Mone funeral Directors for the complete, professional and sensitive handling of all the funeral arrangements and to Richard the gravedigger for preparing Arthur’s final resting place.
