Keep up with Armagh i

Acknowledgement for the late Anthony Donaghy (Kildress)

Donaghy, Anthony. We the family of the late Anthony Donaghy wish to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with us and offered us support since daddy’s sudden death.
We extend our profound thanks to the staff of both Hillbank Fold and Altnagelvin Hospital, for the diligent way in which they tended and cared for daddy during his time with them.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to both Fr Laurence Boyle (Cookstown) for his attention and compassion during the time of daddy’s wake, along with Fr Column Curry (Beragh), who kindly presided over the funeral mass.

Special thanks to those who helped with, and participated in the funeral service, especially Jade Doherty who provided the beautiful music, as well as the readers and gift bearers, in particular Cathy Donaghy Burns for her very moving delivery of the final reflection on Lia’s behalf.

We wish to express our genuine gratitude to Donaghy and Montague Funeral Directors, Beragh, for their professional assistance throughout. A particular word of thanks to Agnes for her great guidance and support and to Mickey and Paddy for their meticulous organisation in relation to all arrangements made, which were all carried out in a very professional and dignified manner.
Sincere thanks also to those helped to prepare daddy’s grave, to Beragh GAC for both their guard of honour and the use of their club house following the service and kind thanks to Farley’s Bar Beragh who provided the refreshments after daddy’s funeral mass.

Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended the wake/funeral or watched via webcam.

Our sincere and heartfelt thanks is extended to everyone who called at our home, provided food and refreshments, sent mass and sympathy cards, flower tributes, telephoned and messaged through social media.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation to everyone. The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for your intention.

Daddy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday September 3, at 6pm in Holy Trinity Chapel, Cookstown.
