Acknowledgement for the late Anne McGrory (Keady)

McGrory, Anne.

The family of the late Anne McGrory (Lower Clea, Keady) have requested this acknowledgement is posted in appreciation and gratitude for all the support and sympathy shown to them on her sad passing.

Anne’s son Michael, daughter Shauna and the entire family circle wish to thank the many people who cared for Anne both at home and in hospital throughout her short illness.

Most notably the staff of Willowbank Surgery, McKeevers Chemist Keady and especially the domicillary care team from Enable Care Services for their dedicated care of Anne at home.

Also the caring staff of Ward 2 North Craigavon Area Hospital and the staff of Orchard Lodge Care Home where Anne received exemplary respite care.

We sincerely thank all our own family members, friends and kind neighbours for their care to Anne and for their ongoing support to us and especially Barry Gollogly for providing parking for the wake attendees.

Massive thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral, those who telephoned, sent mass cards, messaged or posted online their expressions of sympathy.

We thank also the many individuals and businesses in the town who brought gifts of food to the wake, these were greatly appreciated and a special word of thanks to the ladies who served them.

No words seem adequate to express our sincere thanks to the priests of Keady parish for their pastoral care to Anne and in particular Canon Sean ONeill for his prayerful presence and to Rev Fr Aidan McCann who celebrated a very fitting funeral mass.

Thanks also to Sinead Murphy and Patricia Hagan for providing the beautiful music which greatly enhanced the celebration of the mass and to the Sacriston team for preparing the church.

Special thanks to Elaine McGuigan and the team at Derrynoose Community Centre who provided post burial refreshments.

Finally, we wish to sincerely thank Bridget Mone and her team for their complete and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements and for the genuine kindness and support they offered to the family.

At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation.

Anne’s Month Mind mass will be celebrated in St Mochua’s Church Derrynoose on Sunday, November 2 at 10am.
