Acknowledgement for the late Anne McCann (Eglish)

McCann, Anne.

Anne’s husband John, sons, daughters, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, sister, brother and all extended family, wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us following Anne’s sudden death.

To all the many people who called to our family home, to family, friends and neighbours who helped out throughout the wake in so many ways, we will be forever indebted to you all.

We want to thank everyone, including local businesses who provided food, those who brought Mass and sympathy cards, those who posted lovely tributes on social media, those who sent floral tributes and all who helped in the home including parking, providing lighting and KC Marquees.

Special thanks to Eglish St. Patrick’s G.F.C. for the use of their facilities and for all their support over the days of the wake and Funeral, providing stewarding and the shuttle bus from Pairc Cormac.

Thank you to all Anne’s carers over the years, Clogger Valley Care, Nurses, Doctors and Medicare in Dungannon, Nursing Staff in Bluestone Unit and the Medical Team in Craigavon Area Hospital, who cared for Anne in her final hours.

Sincere gratitude is extended to Father John Heagney, for his spiritual support during his visits to Anne and for the beautiful Funeral Liturgy, thanks also to Dermot, the sacristan and also to Pat Casey and Gerry Cunningham for the beautiful music and singing at the Mass, thanks also to the gravediggers who prepared Anne’s final resting place.

Sincere thanks to the Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, special mention to Anne’s lovely grandchildren who participated in the Offertory and the Prayers of the Faithful.

To all who provided fitting Guards of Honour on the day of the Funeral.

Special word of thanks to PJ Quinn and Son Undertakers, for carrying out the Funeral in such a dignified, caring and professional manner and to The Ryandale, Moy for providing the lovely meal after the Funeral.

It would be impossible to thank everyone individually, who helped and supported us through this difficult time, but we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our deep appreciation.

57 Cadian Road, Eglish.

Anne’s Month Memory Mass will be held on Thursday April 11, in St. Patrick’s Church, Eglish at 7.30pm.
