Acknowledgement for the late Anna Barkey (Middletown)

Barkey, Anna.

The family of the late Anna Barkey (nee McCann) would like to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us, by attending the wake and funeral mass. To those that sent mass and sympathy cards, messages, or posted online condolences, all were received, read and very much appreciated.

We offer our heart felt thanks to our own family, good friends and neighbours who helped in any way during the wake or run up to the funeral and those who travelled long distances to attend the wake and funeral mass.

A special thank you to Fr Sean Moore for the beautiful service and the lovely personal eulogy, and to Cathy Kelly, Patricia Hagan and Brian McCann for the lovely singing and music. Thanks also to Martin McCann, the Sacristan, for his help with the funeral mass.

Thank you to Middletown Parish Community Hall for the use of the hall and to McEntees Catering.

We extend our thanks and are eternally grateful to the Trust Domicillary Care team who have cared for and supported Granny at her home over the years.

Many thanks to Martin McArdle and his team for their professional, courteous and respectful manner during this difficult time.

As it’s impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as an acknowledgement of our sincere and heartfelt appreciation.
