Acknowledgement for the late Ann Quinn (Coalisland)

Quinn, Ann.

The family of the late Ann Quinn wish to express our deep appreciation and sincere thanks for all the support shown to us through the loss of our Sister and Aunt.

Words cannot express our heartfelt thanks to our extended family, neighbours and community who sympathised and helped during this difficult time. Sincere gratitude is given to all who attended the wake and funeral, sent letters, mass cards and sympathy cards, floral tributes and donated so generously to Macmillan Cancer.

We are truly grateful to all involved in providing food and refreshments during the wake including Connolly & Fee & Mill Court and to those who helped make the tea.

A huge thank you to all those who looked after Ann during her illness. To Dr Bradford and her amazing team in the Mandeville Unit in Craigavon Area Hospital and to those who cared for Ann in her final days in the Haematology ward at Craigavon Area Hospital. Thank you also to all the staff at Dr O’Donnell’s surgery, the staff at O’Neill’s Chemist and the district nurses who provided invaluable support and care.

Our sincere gratitude to Father Eugene O’Neill for his spiritual guidance and support before, during and after Ann’s passing and for the beautiful funeral mass. Also, thanks to Fr Brian Slater and Fr Greg Carvill for visiting Ann at home and in hospital. A special word of thanks to the Ministers of the sick who brought Ann Holy Communion throughout her illness. Thank you also to Mickey O’Neill and his daughters for the lovely singing and to those who took part in the mass.

Thank you to Peter Devlin undertakers for the extremely caring, professional and dignified manner in which they carried out Ann’s funeral. To the Grave Diggers, Sacristan and Altar Servers thank you. Thank you to Brackaville Owen Roes, GAA Club for allowing us the use of their premises and also for their help in preparing the house for the wake and to Kelly-Anne Corr for the lovely refreshments.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

Ann’s Months Mind Mass will be held on Friday March 1, 2024 at 7.30pm in St Mary & St Joseph’s Church, Brackaville, Coalisland.
