Acknowledgement for late Hazel Harkness (Cookstown)

Harkness, Hazel Winifred. The sons and family circle of the late Hazel Winifred Harkness wish to extend our most sincere thanks to all our kind relations, friends, work colleagues and neighbours who sympathised with us following our recent bereavement.

We would especially like to thank the doctors and nurses at the MacMillan Unit, Antrim Area Hospital, the Northern Ireland Community Hospice, and Cookstown Health Centre for their dedicated care. A special word of thanks to all friends and family who provided care and support during Hazel’s illness, particularly Irene McIvor and Heather Hutchinson.

We are grateful to the Reverend Tom Greer and Mr Roy Maxwell for their pastoral care during Hazel’s illness, to Reverend Greer for conducting the funeral services at the home, church and graveside, and to Mr Sam Cuddy for playing the organ at the church service.

We are truly grateful to all those who called at the home and the farm to offer their condolences, helped out, brought gifts, sent sympathy cards, letters and messages, phoned and e-mailed, gave donations to the MacMillan Unit at Antrim Area Hospital, and all those who attended the funeral.

Sincere thanks to Mr Bryan Steenson and his staff for carrying out the funeral arrangements in such a dignified, professional and sensitive manner.

We hope this acknowledgement will accepted by everyone as an expression of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
