The family of a man who went missing after going on a cycle on Saturday night have confirmed his tragic passing.
Keith Davidson had failed to return from a cycle in Dungannon late on Saturday night.
Police had issued an appeal after he was last seen by his family at around 10.45pm.
A large-scale search was put in place throughout Sunday, however, yesterday evening, his family confirmed that he had been found.
Tragically Mr Davidson had passed away.
A family statement thanked everyone for their efforts throughout the day.
It read: “The Davidson family would like to thank everyone for their efforts today looking for Dad.
“Unfortunately, dad has been found and it wasn’t the outcome that we had been hoping for.
“At this minute in time we would appreciate if the family can have time to digest this information and respect our privacy.
“We will keep everyone posted with further details.”
