A 35-year-old Co Armagh man pleaded guilty to stealing items – including a pair of leggings – worth around £60 from Tesco in Craigavon.
Steven Allister Tailford, of Moyraverty Centre, Craigavon appeared before Magistrates’ Court on Friday charged with stealing pyjamas, a Parker pen, refills, leggings and a toothbrush.
The theft occurred on March 3.
Tailford’s defence solicitor told the court that his client had an extensive record.
District Judge, Bernie Kelly, adjourned the case until May 16 for the probation service to obtain a pre-sentence report.
