A digger valued at £100,000 which was stolen in England last week has been recovered in Armagh.
A joint police operation located the plant machinery after a search warrant was executed at a yard in Armagh.
A man was arrested.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “We know the pain and frustration victims of machinery theft are caused. Agricultural/ plant theft ruins livelihoods and ultimately hurts us all. We’re committed to hitting back, hunting suspects down, and retrieving stolen machinery where at all possible. Here’s proof of that.
“If you know anything about stolen machinery or plant theft, call us on 101. Alternatively you can speak anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Make that difference. Help fight back for those who work hard against those who take for themselves.”
