City bid to bounce back after his league defeat

ARMAGH City will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways this weekend after a sickening 4-1 away defeat to Portstewart last Saturday.

Unbeaten after their opening eight games in the Belfast Telegraph Championship Two, the Holm Park outfit came crashing back down to earth with this reverse on the north-west coast.

But City still remain table-toppers – three points ahead of their nearest challengers!

This Saturday, (November 2 at 3pm), City will be back in the thick of league action when they welcome Ballymoney United to Holm Park.

The County Antrim side were surprisingly beaten comfortably 3-0 last weekend at Banbridge Town, ending a decent run of form.

However, they still sit in seventh place in the league and know a win against Armagh could bring them to within three points of the table-toppers.

City won their last home Championship Two game against Glebe Rangers by the narrow margin of 2-1 and, on that occasion, were far from convincing.
They will certainly have to lift their form against a Ballymoney outfit who can beat anyone on their day!
