Police helicopter chase leads to man’s arrest in Craigavon

A man has been arrested following a police chase involving a police helicopter.

The incident began in Banbridge last night after police spotted a number of men acting suspiciously in a car.

The officers signalled for the car to stop but it failed to do so resulting in the use of the police’s aerial unit.

One man was arrested following the 12-mile pursuit into Craigavon.

He was arrested for a number of motoring offences and is currently helping police with their investigation.
