Police appeal following spate of incidents in Armagh

Police are appealing for information in relation to a spate of incidents in Armagh earlier this month.

Shortly after 6pm on Sunday, April 5 it was reported that a silver Citroen Picasso had been broken into and a handbag stolen at Ardress House.

Constable Tony Acton said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has information which may assist our investigation. We can be contacted on 101, quoting ref: 886 050415.

“We would also remind motorists to remove all valuables from sight when leaving your car unattended and ensure doors and windows are secured.”

Police are also appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage.

Between 11pm and midnight on Saturday, 4 April, a cctv camera at a property on Drumcairn Road was damaged.

Four youths were seen in the area around the time and we are keen to speak to these youths or anyone who has information in relation to this incident.

In a third separate incident a trailer was stolen from a shed on the Portadown Road.

Sometime between 2.30pm on Tuesday, 7 April and 12 midday on Thursday, 9 April, entry was gained to a shed off the Portadown Road, close to the start of the climbing lanes out of Armagh.

A chain on a gate was broken and a yellow hightail plant trailer, with a rusted tailgate and no registration plate, was taken.
