One taken to hospital after three vehicle collision

One person was taken to hospital after being injured in a three vehicle road traffic collision at the Tandragee Road in Portadown yesterday (Sunday).
Police received a report of the accident, between Shelbourne Motors and the Ballylisk junction, at approximately 4.50pm.
A PSNI spokesperson confirmed to Armagh I today (Monday): “It is believed that three people were injured, one of whom was taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening at this stage.”
No further details have been made available at this stage of another accident in Armagh, in which a 21-year-old man sustained serious injuries. He had been described as being in a “critical” condition in Craigavon Area Hospital.
The accident, which involved one vehicle, happened at the Monaghan Road in Armagh at 5am on Sunday.

The road was closed from Linwoods Bakery to Longnancys Junction throughout the day and re-opened to traffic shortly before 3pm on Sunday.
