A missing phone in the Anita Downey murder investigation has been found.
Detectives from Serious Crime Branch investigating the 51-year-old’s murder in Lurgan on Friday (January 20) have now recovered the missing mobile phone as a result of their media appeal.
Ms Downey was found dead at a house in Toberhewney Lane Lower.
Detectives from PSNI Serious Crime Branch have charged 51-year-old David Lyness, of Toberhewny Hall with her murder.
He appeared at Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
A detective told the court he believed he could connect the accused to the charge.
There was no application for bail.
