Kids as young as seven involved in hate crime incidents

Police in Portadown are appealing for information following a number of anti-social incidents at a house in Alexandra Gardens.
Around 5.15pm on Wednesday, April 30, stones were thrown at the window of a house. A number of youths, approximately 7 to 11 years old, were seen outside. Earlier in the day a number of youths were seen knocking at the door of the house.
In a previous incident, the door of the house had been kicked.
Police are treating these incidents as hate crimes and are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to them to contact police in  Portadown on the 101 non-emergency number, quoting ref:  869300414.
Police are also asking parents to speak to their children and warn them of the consequences of becoming involved in antisocial  behaviour.
