Man to appear in court after three teenagers robbed at knifepoint

Charges in relation to an incident on Thursday afternoon

A man is to appear in court charged with a number of offences in relation to an incident in Craigavon on Thursday.

Detectives have charged the 24-year-old man with two counts of robbery, common assault and possessing an article with blade or point in a public place.

He is expected to appear before Craigavon Magistrates’ Court later this morning, Friday 22 September. 

The charges are in connection with an incident in Drumgor Park in Craigavon yesterday afternoon.

It was reported that three teenagers were threatened by a man with a knife who then stole two mobile phones from them.

All charges are reviewed by the PPS.
