Police appeal following arson attack on house in early hours of morning

Police are appealing for information following an arson attack on a house in Banbridge.

The incident happened in the Burnview Terrace area of the town in the early hours of this morning, Monday.

Sometime between 3am and 6am the door and front mat of the property received scorch damage.

Constable Gordon would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or anyone who has information that could assist police with their enquiries to contact police at Lurgan on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 479 02/09/18.

Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
