Appeal to trace taxi driver after allegations of ‘altercation’ involving passengers

Police are trying to trace a taxi driver after reports of an altercation involving passengers in their cab.

The alleged incident happened during the early hours of last Saturday morning.

The PSNI in Banbridge want to speak to a driver who picked up a fare between 1.45am and 2am outside the Banville House Hotel in Banbridge.

The fare involved taking two males and a female to Donaghcloney.

But police are now investigating allegations of an altercation en route between a female and male passenger.

Investigating officers are appealing to the taxi driver who picked up these passengers to get in touch.
