A man has been arrested in connection with an assault on a schoolgirl in Armagh on Friday.

It was reported earlier how an 11-year-old girl was approached by a man who allegedly grabbed her by the throat and threw her into a hedge outside St Catherine’s College in Armagh city.

“The arrest follows a report of an assault on an 11-year-old girl in the Convent Road area of Armagh on Friday, 10 November.
