Christopher Peter Kelly, of Caffrey Park in Belfast, is also alleged to have assaulted two police officers following an incident at the Charlemont Arms Hotel last month.
The 26-year-old made an appearance before Armagh Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday charged with two counts of disorderly behaviour, two counts of assault on police, criminal damage to a PSNI vehicle and intentionally exposing his genitals, intending that someone would see them and be caused alarm or distress.
The alleged incident occurred on Sunday, April 29 in the area of Upper English Street.
The court also heard that the disorderly behaviour allegedly took place on licensed premises, namely the Charlemont Arms Hotel and Upper English Street.
Kelly was released on continuing bail and asked to return to court next Tuesday, May 29 to allow his solicitor to seek instruction.
