Armagh woman’s desperate appeal for ring of ‘unimaginable sentimental value’

An Armagh woman is desperately appealing for help in tracing a ring which may have been mixed up with another earlier this month.

The ring, which carries “unimaginable sentimental value” for the lady, may have been accidentally handed to another customer of Ewarts Jewellers on Scotch Street, Armagh.

Catherine Toner, left the rings with the store on September 1 – one to be reshaped one to get a stone replaced – with both to be picked up again on September 15.

However, on returning to the store, one of the rings had been misplaced, possibly given to another customer accidentally within those two weeks.

Catherine is desperate for their return as she has held the rings for 22 years after her aunt, who has since passed away, gifted them on her Holy Communion day.

Unfortunately the jewellers hold no contact details for anyone who may have been given the ring by mistake so Catherine is reaching out in the hope someone may have her ring (pictured inset).

If you can help, please send us a PM or contact the jewellers directly on 028 37525267.

Please help and share Catherine’s appeal.
