Appeal for witnesses after family home ransacked in south Armagh burglary

Burglars have ransacked a family’s home in Bessbrook.

Police in Newtownhamilton are appealing for information following the incident, which happened sometime between 2pm and 5.45pm on Thursday, May 5.

Entry was forced to the rear of the at Crabtree Hill.

While police say the house was ransacked, they have not confirmed if anything was taken.

Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any suspicious vehicles or activity in the area around this time to contact them on 101, quoting ref: 873 050516.
